Exotic Hunts

Exotic hunting in Texas allows you to brush up on your hunting skills during the off season. Most hunts are 3 day 2 night packages. These packages are total price packages that includes 1 on 1 guiding, all meals; lodging, transportation to and from blinds and around the ranch, and trophy preperation for taxidermist. Exotic hunting packages include unlimited hogs, predators, and all the fishing you want to do.

What is an Exotic?

"Exotic" refers to nonindigenous or non-native mammals that landowners have introduced to Texas Ranches. The first release of exotics into Texas occurred around 1930 when a group of nilgai antelope were released on the King Ranch in South Texas. As of 1988, based on a state-wide survey conducted by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Dept, there were over 160,000 exotic game animals of 67 different species found in Texas. Texas Exotics can be found in 137 of the 254 counties in the State, and 68% of those exotics were to be found in the Texas Hill Country.
